On
the magician's table is a large, dramatic silk cloth. He picks it up
and holds it open between his two hands. Then he is joined by his
lovely assistant, who is carrying a silver ball on a small stand. The
assistant places the ball on the top edge of the cloth, where
(amazingly) it balances precariously. After a few moments it dips
behind the cloth, pushes out toward the audience, and begins to rise
-- floating in air!
The
lovely assistant steps to the side and slightly backwards, so that
the magician, concentrating on making the ball float, can't see him.
And he begins to take his clothes off. The audience members, who most
definitely CAN see him, aren't sure how far he'll go. For awhile they
can't decide which is more interesting to watch: the floating ball or
the strip show.
The magician, meanwhile, has been doing some amazing things. At one point, the ball, under the cloth, is way over the magician's head, and he turns around halfway, still not noticing that the lovely assistant is now naked. While he's not looking, the lovely assistant sneaks up behind and pulls the magician's pants down!
